Born in the year 1994 in Acha Tugi Northwest region of Cameroon Tibah Perpetua Ijang is an environmental activist and entrepreneur. She obtained her first school leaving certificate at Presbyterian School Station Bamunka in Ndop. As a young girl with determination, she moved on to obtain her Advanced Level from Government Bilingual High School Muyuka In 2013. That same year, she was admitted to the university of Buea where she obtain a bachelor of science degree in environmental science and a minor in library science 3 years later.
With the knowledge she gained from environmental science, and seeing the negative impact of environmental and climate change in her community, she decided to join environmental education for a Better earth Cameroon (EEFABE), as treasurer and logistician. Here, she coordinated the training and empowerment of young people in schools and communities on environmental and climate change education, preparing them to be better climate justice conscious. Aside from that, she is a part-time Occupational safety and publications officer with Valison Company Limited (formerly known as Valison tour and travels].
Perpetua is also a fashion designer specializing in beads making. She designs slippers, Sandals, purses, Caps, jewelry, and clothes as a source of income generation.
